Karisa is a Washington native and WWU alum currently residing in Madison Park. She is a Product Marketing Manager at Amazon where she works to increase food access for underserved communities. She manages all marketing for the Urban Food Deserts program and paid marketing for the SNAP EBT Acceptance program. She’s worked throughout the marketing fields with roles spanning product, campaign, account, and project management. Outside of work, her passion is plant-based cooking. She’ll spend hours in her kitchen creating new recipes with unique ingredients. She also loves gardening, weightlifting, backpacking, volunteering, and reading (she’s currently reading Caste and Greenlights).
