Dr. Cat Armstrong Soule
Dr. Armstrong Soule is an Assistant Professor of Marketing for the College of Business & Economics at Western Washington University. She earned her PhD in Marketing from the University of Oregon. Her research focuses on judgment and decision making within the exchange and consumption contexts. Her other areas of research expertise include anti-consumption, consumer protections, branding and brand communities, and consumer-to-consumer exchange. She uses a variety of research methodology including experimental, interview, descriptive survey, field research, observational and data scraped from social media. Cat teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in consumer behavior, principles of marketing, behavioral pricing, branding and integrated marketing communications. She loves teaching at Western as well as supervising the internship program and serving as the faculty advisor for the Student Marketing Association.
